How To Correctly Install Wheel Covers 1. Install the wheel cover wire retention ring on the inside of the plastic legs in the grooves near the bottom of the legs. Note: some wheel cover styles may have the ring pre-installed. 2. Next, crouch down in front of the wheel and tip the wheel cover slightly into the wheel at the 6 o'clock position. The installed ring at this point should only be approximately 1/3rd of the way into the fully seated position. 3. With your fingertips resting on the wheel covers edge at 10 and 2 o'clock, and your palms resting at 9 and 3 o'clock on the wheel cover face, pull down slightly towards the 6 o'clock position with your fingertips to put just a little downward pressure on the ring.....then, pop the wheel cover into the fully seated position with your palms a 9 and 3 o'clock all at once. The goal is to fully seat the wheel cover 360 degrees.... ALL AT ONCE. Do not try to work your way around little by little with a fully seated wire ring as this will not work. Any wheel cover, no matter how high the quality can be broken by forcing installation incorrectly by trying to work your way around little by little, and forcing the last few inches to seat when the wheel cover is severely bent out of shape.
